01The short version
Scan Invoice uses no advertising cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn’t tell anyone else you visited.
What we do keep in your browser is only what the app needs to work, like remembering that you’re signed in.
02What we keep in your browser
The app uses your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to other websites:

If you sign in with “Connect EVM wallet” or with MetaMask on a phone, those tools also keep their own connection details in your browser while you sign in. The connection is closed once you’re signed in or you cancel, and a new MetaMask sign-in clears any details left from an earlier one.
The app also installs a small service worker (sw.js) in your browser. It stores and caches nothing: it lets you add Scan Invoice to your home screen, and shows the notifications you turn on. If you turn notifications on, your browser keeps its own notification subscription for this site until you turn them off.
03Cookies
The website and the app set no cookies. The only cookie we use belongs to the staff console, where the Scan Invoice team signs in. It lasts 12 hours and is never set for anyone else.
04Your choices
- Signing out removes your sign-in, profile, tier card and Help reading time from this browser.
- Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes everything in the table above.
- If you block site storage, the website still works, but the app can’t keep you signed in.
05Changes and contact
